I think that, at some degree, everyone has an urge inside them to convey their thoughts to the outside world. There are different ways to get one's wit and wisdom across to people. The artist can sometimes speak better with visual concepts and ideas while a musician translates his or her emotions into music compositions. I consider myself an artist and my aim is for the viewer of my work to consider it, then walk away the better for having seen it. The reason for this blog is not out of a large desire to write, rather, I just found out my sister has created a blog and I am merely following in her steps.
